3D printing technology has been gaining popularity over the years due to its ability to produce complex shapes and designs that are difficult to manufacture using traditional manufacturing methods. This when we were contacted by team from BITS PILANI. They explained their constraints being light weight , time and cost . However, their foil to adopt aluminum failed as it needs CNC assistance and takes enormous time. This brings a insane edge for 3D printing as we can have choice of material on requirement say maybe thermosetting, flexibility, design complexities.


Then we imported the design file from the client . On taking insights and looking at constraints it was decided to print in PLA ST.


Its tough , robust and perfect for the retaining of shape after applying pressure .
