What Is Rapid Prototyping?
Rapid prototyping is the process of turning a CAD design into a physical, testable part within 24–72 hours. At 3 Zero, we regularly deliver functional prototypes within 48 hours of receiving a confirmed file.
What Files Do You Need?
To get started, you'll need one of:
- STL file — the standard format, exported from any CAD software
- STEP file — preferred for precise dimensional accuracy
- 3MF file — newer format with embedded print settings
